You may have questions that you would like to know about us, maybe before you visit us for the first time or right after you have just visited. Please know that questions ARE OK! We at Griffith First Christian Church love questions! We all have questions, without exception. There are some questions that we can answer, and there are some questions that only God can. You may want to ask some questions, such as:

Those questions, my friends, we can answer. And we also ask of you, that if you have any extra questions, PLEASE ASK! And if one of our members cannot answer your question, they would be able to direct you to someone who does. If you have any other questions besides the ones here that you would like to know, you should definitely contact us and let us know! We hope to hear from you soon!

The purpose of the First Christian Church is to:

  • Love God
  • Love Others
  • Spread The Gospel

Our Vision Statement is:

  • WE are a MOVEMENT committed to believing in God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit while following their leadership in our lives.
  • WE are a MOVEMENT committed to reflecting God’s glory in our lives both as individuals and as a family.
  • WE are a MOVEMENT committed to uniting as a family that works, prays and worships together where every member is loved and valued.
  • WE are a MOVEMENT committed to influencing the communities in which we live by changing lives, breaking down walls and meeting their needs.
  • WE are a MOVEMENT committed to finishing this race, winning the prize and hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
  • WE are a MOVEMENT!

We believe that the Bible is the only inspired Word of God.

We believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Spirit (The Holy Spirit).

We believe that God loves all people unconditionally, but that we are all sinners separated from God by sin.

We believe that Jesus Christ died for all sinners on a Roman cross and was raised by God the Father on the third day.

We believe that in order to accept God's gracious offer of salvation through Jesus Christ sinners must believe in Christ, repent from sin, confess their faith publicly and be baptized by immersion for the forgiveness of their sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ will return one day to take His followers to their eternal home with Him and to judge everyone.
